What can I expect?

How long is our WORSHIP service?

In total, a service at SPC is about 65 minutes in length. Services begins with our worship team leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After we sing, our pastor or one of our leaders will pray. There will be an opportunity to offer our prayers to God. Our pastor will share a message to encourage and strengthen us that comes from the Bible.

Monthly, we take the Lord's Supper together. We also enjoy other time-honored practices from the Church at different times of year. So we experience special events at times like Easter and Christmas. We celebrate together when we welcome new members or new officers (our Elders and Deacons) into the life of the Church, along with baptisms.

What's it like at SPC?

Sunday's at SPC are hopeful, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest. Everything we do is taken from the Bible and rooted in the history of the Christian tradition. Our services are designed to be accessible to everyone. Our music is designed to guide and teach us, and is a mixture of ancient hymns and newer songs of praise. You may hear a song that a grandparent may have taught you, and something you've just heard on the radio. We describe our service as reverent, relatable and uplifting. We seek to honor God and connect others to praise Him, while experiencing His presence together.

What about my kids?

We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week - and SPC Kids make this a priority. We want kids to learn from God's Word in a fun, engaging atmosphere. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our SPC Kids program the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in and connect with our Kid's Ministry Staff and volunteers. Along those lines, all of our Kid's Ministry Volunteers and Staff have been screened, interviewed, and received background clearances.

On Sundays, we offer:

  • Kids in Worship Kids may remain with parents during worship.
  • Our Nursery and toddler room offer hands-on learning in a fun, safe environment for newborns and preschoolers

As we recover from Covid19 and our volunteers are willing to come back and serve, we look to offer the following ministries for elementary aged children in the near future:

  • Traditional Sunday School at 9am
  • Those in K-6th Grade can head to Resonate Kid's Church for an energetic hands on lesson.
